Physiotherapy + Performance · Matt Laing, Physiotherapist

Physiotherapy Downtown Toronto — Arzadon Recovery

Physiotherapy for young professionals and athletes — from post-injury and post-surgery comebacks to full performance, under one roof with one integrated team.

A Different Approach to Recovery

Arzadon Recovery bridges the gap between physiotherapy and performance training. Most physio clinics discharge you once the pain is gone. We take you further — from rehab to full performance, under one roof with one integrated team.

Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or looking to prevent setbacks that keep derailing your training, our approach combines hands-on manual therapy with structured, data-tracked exercise programming.

What Sets Us Apart

The Arzadon Recovery Difference

Integrated Expertise

Our physiotherapy and personal training teams work under one roof, sharing data and protocols. Your rehab plan feeds directly into your training plan — no gaps, no guesswork.

Cutting-Edge Approach

We combine manual therapy with evidence-based movement assessment, corrective exercise, and data-tracked progression. Every session is measurable.

Personalized Care

No cookie-cutter protocols. Your treatment plan is built around your injury history, movement patterns, goals, and lifestyle. We treat the person, not just the symptom.

Injury Prevention

We do not just fix injuries — we prevent them. Movement screening and corrective protocols are built into every plan to keep you training consistently.

Performance Return

Most physio clinics discharge you once the pain is gone. We take you further — from rehab to full performance, ensuring you come back stronger.

One Team, One Facility

Your physio and your trainer collaborate directly. No referral loops, no information lost in translation. Everything happens at 460 Richmond St W.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a doctor's referral to see the physiotherapist at Arzadon?

+

No referral is required to book with Matt Laing, our physiotherapist. You can book directly through the form on this page. If you're recovering from a surgery or injury, we'll coordinate with your medical team as needed — but the first step is just reaching out.

What conditions does the Arzadon recovery program treat?

+

Our recovery program addresses soft tissue injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, mobility restrictions, and sports injuries. Matt specializes in recovery-focused physiotherapy while our personal trainers bridge the gap between rehabilitation and full performance — a transition most recovery-only clinics don't support.

How is Arzadon recovery different from a standalone physiotherapy clinic?

+

Most physiotherapy clinics discharge you when pain stops. We integrate recovery directly into your training program — so soft tissue work, mobility, and progressive loading happen as a coordinated system. Matt and your personal trainer share your data and adjust protocols together, not in isolation.

Can I do recovery and personal training at the same time?

+

Yes — and that's the design. Most clients run both concurrently. Your personal training sessions are programmed around your recovery status; your massage therapy sessions are timed to support your training load. The two aren't competing, they're complementary.

Is RMT covered by insurance in Ontario?

+

Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) is covered by most extended health benefit plans in Ontario, including those offered through major employers and insurers. You'll receive a receipt for direct submission to your insurer after each session.
