Personal Training for Scarborough Clients
Lakeshore East GO or Line 2 — either way, what’s waiting at King West is coaching that can prove it’s working.
How Scarborough clients train with us
Fewer trips. Heavier ones.
Scarborough is the longest Toronto-borough trip we ask anyone to make, so the model is built to need less of it. The routine work — programming, nutrition, check-ins — runs online, revised every two weeks from your logged data. Studio trips are reserved for what earns them: coached sessions, movement screening, and the retests that keep the program honest.
Getting west is simpler than it looks. Lakeshore East GO runs from Scarborough, Eglinton, and Guildwood stations to Union about every 30 minutes all day; Line 2 crosses the borough to St George with Line 1 finishing the trip. Whichever you ride, the studio at 460 Richmond St W is a short hop from the terminus.
The trip buys what the east end’s gym strips don’t stock: a private floor, one coach per session, baselines measured before anything is programmed — biosignature, InBody, VO2 max — and trainers paid on the results those rescans show. Batch a session with a rescan and one train ride does two jobs.

FAQ
Scarborough questions, answered.
What's the best way in from Scarborough?+
Two solid options. The Lakeshore East GO line — from Scarborough, Eglinton, or Guildwood stations — runs to Union about every 30 minutes all day, and from Union it's a short streetcar hop or 15-minute walk to 460 Richmond St W. On the TTC, Line 2 runs west across the borough to St George, where Line 1 drops you at St Andrew or Osgoode. GO is usually the calmer ride; Line 2 is the cheaper one. Driving means the 401 or Kingston Road to the DVP, with municipal parking a block from the studio.
Scarborough to King West is a real trip. What makes it worth it?+
It is a real trip, and the coaching model respects that: the routine parts — programming, nutrition targets, check-ins — run online, adjusted from your logged data every two weeks, so the trips you make are coached sessions and testing days, not commutes to use a treadmill. What's at the west end is what the east end doesn't have: a private floor, one coach per session, and a measurement stack — biosignature, InBody, movement screening, VO2 max — with trainers paid on your results. You come for the hours that need a coach's eyes.
How many trips a month should I expect?+
Most Scarborough clients settle at one or two studio visits a month, each batched to count twice — a coached session stacked with an InBody rescan, or an assessment paired with technique work under a coach. Between visits, your program runs in the app with check-ins reviewing your logged sessions. Clients who work downtown flip the pattern entirely and train weekly around the office day. Your coach maps the calendar to your commute reality, not to a brochure.
What are the costs?+
Hybrid coaching is $387/month, all-in: coached in-studio sessions, complete programming, nutrition targets, and check-ins. No initiation fee, no session meter. If you want proof before commitment, standalone assessments come with no membership: biosignature at $167, VO2 max testing at $177 — single visits that end with your data in hand either way. Typical GTA one-on-one rates run $60–150 per session, so consistent trainees usually come out ahead on the monthly. Exact pricing for your goals: free 20-minute consultation, phone works fine.
Is there a female coach available?+
Ask us directly about current coach availability when you book — the roster and schedules shift, and we'd rather give you a live answer than a stale page. What doesn't shift: every coach works the same measurement system, every session is one-on-one on a private floor, and every program is written from your own baselines. If a specific coach fit matters to you — gender, style, specialization — say so in the consultation call and we'll be straight about what we can offer. (437) 237-7524.
