Personal Training for North York Clients

Line 1 runs from both sides of North York straight to the studio’s doorstep stations. No transfers, no timetable — just a seat and a program that measures everything.

How North York clients train with us

Already on the right line.

North York is the only borough with two Line 1 branches running through it — Yonge on the east side, University on the west — and both end up at the studio’s doorstep stations, St Andrew and Osgoode, without a single transfer. Wherever you are between Wilson and Finch, the trip downtown is one seat.

What justifies the ride is the system at the other end: baselines first — biosignature, InBody, movement screen, VO2 max for the full picture — then a program written against your numbers and revised every two weeks from rescans. Sessions run one-on-one on a private floor. Trainers are paid on results, which changes what a session is for.

Between studio visits, the hybrid layer runs programming, nutrition, and check-ins online. Downtown workers fold sessions around the office; North York-based clients ride off-peak and keep the same fixed slots week after week. Either way, the subway makes consistency cheap — and consistency is what the data rewards.

FAQ

North York questions, answered.

How do I get there from North York?+

You're on the right line already. Line 1 serves North York on both branches — Yonge through Finch, North York Centre, and Sheppard; University through Sheppard West and Wilson — and both run straight down to the core without a transfer. Get off at St Andrew or Osgoode and walk a few minutes to 460 Richmond St W. Driving, Allen Road or Yonge to the DVP both work, with two municipal lots a block from the studio. But honestly: this is a subway trip, and that's the point.

Why go downtown instead of training along Yonge in North York?+

The Yonge corridor has no shortage of gym floors and session trainers. What you're riding past them for is a system: baseline measurement — biosignature, InBody, movement screen, VO2 max — a program written against your numbers, and a rescan every two weeks that decides what changes. One coach per session on a private floor, and trainers paid on client results rather than session volume. If the measurement layer doesn't matter to you, train locally; if it does, nobody closer offers it.

What schedule works for a North York commuter?+

Both directions work. If you work downtown, the studio is minutes from your line — a 6am session before the office, or an end-of-day session before riding home. If you're based in North York, off-peak trains make midday and weekend sessions easy, and the studio's 9pm weekday close means an evening slot still gets you home at a reasonable hour. Most North York clients anchor one or two fixed weekly slots; the online layer handles programming and check-ins between them.

What does it cost?+

Hybrid coaching is $387/month, all-inclusive — coached in-studio sessions, your complete program, nutrition targets, and check-ins between visits. No initiation fee, no per-session billing. To start smaller, book a standalone assessment with no membership attached: biosignature at $167 or VO2 max testing at $177, one visit each. Against typical GTA session rates of $60–150, the monthly all-in generally comes out ahead for anyone training consistently. The free 20-minute consultation quotes your exact numbers.

I'm coming back from a long training break. Where do I start?+

With measurement, which is the least intimidating first step we could offer. Your first visit is an assessment, not a workout: body composition, movement screening, honest baselines, and a conversation about goals and history. The program starts where your numbers actually are — not where a template assumes — and a coach runs every session on a private floor, so there's no crowd and no guesswork. The rescan every two weeks shows the comeback in data, which does more for consistency than any pep talk. Call (437) 237-7524.
